Rollins was attacked by Samoa Joe during Rollins long awaited confrontation with the Game Triple H on Raw this week. The attack by Destroyer Samoa Joe resulted in Rollins reinjuring his knee and speculation have been that he could miss Wrestlemania 33.
But according to an early report have suggested that Rollins has sustained a torn MCL and there is a slim chance that he could still make it in time for Wrestlemania 33. According to a report in Wrestling Observer Newsletter, on Wednesday, Rollins was evaluated by the famed Dr James Andrews and the early word is that he will be out for nearly eight weeks.
If his injury is not so serious it would mean that WWE would be able to go forward with their initial plans to build a matchup of Rollins and Triple H in Wrestlemania 33. Without him WWE have to fill a feud for both Samoa Joe and Triple H.
