Rio de Janeiro, Aug 18 (IANS) India’s P.V. Sindhu defeated Nozomi Okuhara of Japan to enter the final of the women’s singles event of badminton competitions at the Olympic Games here on Thursday, registering a 21-19, 21-10 triumph in the semi-finals.
She becomes the first Indian woman to qualify for Olympics Final. She has now guarantee a silver our a Gold medal for India. She will face the world number 1 Marin of Spain in Olympics Final.
