India’s Streak lives against Pakistan


India winning streak lives against Pakistan in ICC World Cups(both ODI and T-20). India have defeated Pakistan last night and register their eleventh win against Pakistan.


It was a historical match as the Legends of India and Pakistan were there to watch the match. All the legends were awarded by bouquet.


Amitabh Bachchan the ‘the cultural icon ‘ and the greatest legends of Bollywood sang the National Anthem of India.

Match was been delayed by 1 hour and reduced to 18-18 over match due to rain. Indian skipper M.S.Dhoni won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan made a slow start as the Ashwin and Jadeja were turning the bowl square. Pakistan score 24 runs without losing wicket in the five over powerplay. Ashiwin spell 12-0 in 3 overs build up the pressure for Pakistan. Pakistan with the help of Shoaib Malik quick innings manage to score 118-5 in eighteen over. Nehra, Bumrah, Jadeja, Pandya and Raina picked up 1-1 wicket each.



India with a bad start and made 23-3 in the powerplay overs. Yuvraj and Virat controlled the innings and removes the pressure and both hit 1-1 sixes in their innings. Yuvraj was caught Sami in 12th over. Virat Kohli scores 55* of 37 balls and Dhoni finishes the Innings with a six followed by a single to win the match.


Virat Kohli was awarded the man of the match for his brilliant innings in a very difficult pitch.

In the presentation party the Indian winning captain M.S.Dhoni spoke: “Initially when we saw the pitch we did not think it would turn so much. I think we can do better, there are areas we can improve, once we get into the knockouts you won’t get a second chance … If I knew from the start if it would turn so much I have no problems playing another spinner.”
